Description

NSN 3950-01-166-3760, Drum, Friction, Bronze. Nominal dimensions are 21 1/2 in. dia. 12 in. lg., 19 in., inside diameter. Made from cast bronze, I/A/W Drawing (53711) 5210357. First Artice Test is required. Solicitation is for the establishment of an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) which includes multiple range quantities for shipment to various stock locations on an as needed basis. An option to extend the contract term up to 4 additional years at the Government's discretion is included. Notes 1 and 26 apply. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of 12 May 2001. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Drawings are posted with the solicitation on the DSCC solicitation web-site. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
