Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Item No. 1 Leybold 1000C Turbomolecular Pump or equal, with 10" conflat inlet flange, KF40 Exhaust Port, NT20 Controller 120VAC 60HZ, 10 Meter Cable, Inlet Screen, Power Failure Vent Valve with Delay. Quantity 2 ea. Item No. 2 Air Cooling Assembly for Leybold 1000C Turbomolecular Pump, 230VAC 60HZ, Bottom Mount or equal. Quantity 2 ea. Item No. 3 Leybold 361 Turbomolecular Pump or equal, with 8" CF Inlet Flange, KF25 Exhaust Port, Nt151/361 Controller 120VAC 60HZ, 10 Meter Cable, Inlet Screen, Power Failure Vent Valve With Delay. Quantity 1 ea. Item No. 4 Air Cooling Assembly for Leybold 361 Turbomolecular Pump, 115VAC, 60HZ or equal. Quantity 1 ea. Item No. 5 Leybold RBS-B Roots Mechanical Pumping System: Including RUVAC WSU251 Air-Cooled Roots Pump with Integral Bypass, 230VAC 3-Phase 60HZ, Canned Motor, IP20 Assembly, ISO-K63 Inlet, Oil Included; Close Coupled to D65B Rotary Vane Backing Pump with KF40 to ISO63 Adaptor, AF Exhaust Filter, and Junction-Box with Terminal Strip or equal. Quantity 2 ea. Item No. 6 Leybold D25B Trivac Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump, with KF25 Ports, 115VAC 60HZ Motor or equal. Quantity 1 ea. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-23. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 333911 and 500 employees, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to MSFC is required within 45 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quotations for the items(s) described above are due by April 5, 2001, 4:30 p.m. CST and may be mailed or faxed to Teresa A. Foley, PS52B, MSFC, AL 35812 or faxed to 256-544-2812 and include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Quoters are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at URL: http://procure.arc.nasa.gov/Acq/Forms/Index.html to submit a quotation. Quoters shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1. Exceptions to FAR 52.212-1 are as follows: (d), (h), and (i). If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the quoter shall so state and shall list the country of origin.
