Description

The Bureau of the Census intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR 13.5) to Westat, 1650 Research Boulevard, Rockville MD 20850 for renewal of a Blaise survey processing software license (Corporate (150+) Developers). The Blaise software is proprietary software developed by the Central Bureau of Statistics at Statistics Netherlands. This licensing agreement permits the distribution and use of the software to Census personnel for a period of one year. Westat serves as the marketing, distribution and support center for the Blaise software for North American clients on the behalf of Statistics Netherlands. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only, and is not a request for competitive quotations; no solicitation will be issued.
