Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) announces a Pre-Solicitation / Industry Day Conference regarding The Government's requirement for Field Sanitation Units (FSU). The Draft Performance Specification relative to the anticipated FSU requirement is available for download at the following web site: <http://www.marcorsyscom.usmc.mil/mcscctq/FSU.htm>. There is no draft solicitation available at this time. However, the Government is considering issuing a draft solicitation and will notify prospective bidders of the final decision on Industry Day. The solicitation will be issued after the Government conducts the FSU Pre-Solicitation /Industry Day Conference. Industry is invited to the MARCORSYSCOM sponsored Pre-Solicitation / Industry Day conference which will be conducted on 12 April 2001 in the Quantico, VA vicinity. It is requested that no more than two (2) persons from each company or "team" intending to submit a proposal attend this event. The Government anticipates the FSU to be a field-deployable, Non-Developmental Item (NDI). See FAR Part 2.101 for the NDI definition. Interested parties are requested to check the Commerce Business Daily on or about 30 March 01 for the exact location, time and additional details regarding this conference.
