- Description
- This is Amendment 3 to the synopsis entitled "PROCUREMENT OF SOFTWARE LICENSES AND ONE DISK DUPLICATOR, Solicitation Number 9-BJ2-Z57-1-07Q, which was posted on March 2, 2001. You are hereby notified that the following questions and answers are incorporated into the RFQ. Question: Item #4, FAT 32 for Windows NT 4.0 -- What version of Windows NT 4.0 do you need? Is it "workstation" or "server"? If your answer is "server", then item #4 and item #8 appear to be the same. Both the versions of Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 allows you to read FAT32 media. There is no separate software just to read FAT32 formatted media. Answer: We are not ordering Windows NT 4.0; we are asking for a utility that adds on to Windows NT 4.0. FAT 32 for Windows NT 4.0 works on both NT Server and NT Workstation. Windows NT 4.0 does not know how to read FAT32; FAT 32 is an unknown format to any computer just running Windows NT 4.0. Question: Item #4, FAT 32 for Windows NT 4.0 -- How many physical media do you need? Answer: 1 physical media and licenses + 4 licenses (for a total of 5 licenses) Question: Item #8, Full licenses -- Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0 w/0 CALs w/User Manual -- How many physical media do you need? Answer: 1 physical media and licenses + 4 licenses (for a total of 5 licenses) Please review the RFQS, it has been updated to reflect all amendments.
