Description

The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Lakeside Ranger District, Navajo County, Arizona requires pre-commercial thinning of Ponderosa Pine, Aligator Juniper, Shaggy Bark Juniper and Pinyon Pine less than 8.1 inches in diameter at 4 1/2 feet above ground level. The general project area can be reached from Show Low Arizona, by traveling West on Highway 260 from the western intersection of Highway 260 and Highway 60/77. While traveling towards Heber and prior to entering Linden, Arizona turn left onfo Forest Road 136 (Joe Tank Ridge Road). Travel approximately one mile then turn onto Forest Road 135 and travel due south for 1.3 miles. Project area will be on East side of Forest Road 135. Plans and specifications will available on or about Thursday April 5, 2001. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $99,999. No telephone request for solicitation will be accepted.
