Description

The purpose of this contract will be to provide annual recoating of all the maple wood floors in the Physical Fitness Center (approx. 16,930sq.ft.), Melaven Gym (approx. 10,610sq.ft.) and the Youth Center (approx. 7,400sq.ft.) on Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, Alaska. The Contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, labor and transportation to repair and refinish the hardwood floors in accordance with Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association (MFMA)guidelines. An oil modified urethane finish, such as Robbins Miracle Finish, is to be applied in a two-coat process. The process is further outlined in the solicitations' STATEMENT OF WORK. This contract will be for a base year and four option years. Each contract year will have the floor refinishing completed between June 1 and August 1 of that year in accordance with the scheduling of those particular gyms and the Contractor. See note: #1
