Description

The U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) plans to award a sole source contract to PeopleSoft USA, Incorporated, 6903 Rockledge Drive, Suite 1100, Bethesda, MD 20817. The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) Office of the Comptroller shall implement the PeopleSoft Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software acquired under HUD Contract # C-OPC-21771. The contractor shall assist in the configuration, planning and implementation of the General Ledger PeopleSoft module. The anticipated period of performance is twelve (12) months. HUD believes that PeopleSoft USA, Incorporated is the only source capable of efficiently providing the subject requirement within the time required. The proposed contract action for services that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other". This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any other firm desiring consideration must fully identify its capability to perform this requirement.
