Description

The Carl T. Hayden VAMC is seeking a contractor to provide an independent, objective assessment of the accuracy of the Utilization Management Pre-admission screening Program for acute admissions to the medical center using Adult ISD InterQual Criteria 2000. The outside review will follow a scientifically valid approach. The reviewers will examine a random sample of records of patients admitted to Acute Care to determine if the admission met the Adult ISD InterQual Criteria 2000. This determination will be compared against the original prescreening decision of our UM staff. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541611 and the size standard is $5 million. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. A small business is determined to have average annual receipts of less than $5 million over the past 3 years.
