Description

The project is to perform the work necessary to construct an Aerospace Ground Equipment (A.G.E.) Wash Rack Facility consisting of, but not limited to cast-in-place concrete, pre-cast concrete hollow core planks, unit masonry, wood trusses, standing seam metal roofing, steel doors and frames, overhead coiling doors, windows, door hardware, painting, fire detection, mechanical work, electrical work, site work installation at McGuire AFB, New Jersey in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings forming parts thereof, subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. Award of a contract from the solicitation will be made on the basis of best value to the Government using past performance/price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 23331. It is recommended that the contractor make an on site visit at 1000 on 25 Apr 01, bldg 2402, to evaluate the project to determine the extent of the work to be completed prior to submitting their proposal. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 10 Apr 01 with an approximate response date of 10 May 01. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal and is issued on an unrestricted basis to all firms registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). All responsive offerors will be considered by the agency. The project magnitude is between $250,000 to $500,000. The entire solicitation, including the specifications and drawings, will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Web Site at http://www.eps.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 305 CONS. Paper copies will not be available.
