Description

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System is soliciting offers for a job order construction contract. This solicitation is for a firm fixed price, Multi-Discipline, Indefinite Delivery /Indefinite Quantity type contract concept which encompasses a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction work on real property located at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, Tucson, Arizona. The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System also has five Community Based Outpatient Clinics, located in Yuma, Safford, Green Valley, Casa Grande and Sierra Vista, AZ. Task/Delivery Work Orders shall be based on individual projects, and will vary in size and dollar amount. The Contractor will furnish all materials, equipment and personnel necessary to accomplish the work. Projects will involve, but are not limited to trades, such as carpentry, asphalt/concrete, paving, landscaping, roofing, excavation, interior renovation, electrical, steam-fitting, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition (may include asbestos and lead abatement removal), concrete, masonry, welding, and HVAC. Individual task/delivery work orders shall be based on individual projects, and shall not exceed a one year period from date of award; the government reserves the right to exercise annually four (4) options to renew the base contract period, with each option being for a one-year period. The Government's minimum guarantee of task/delivery work orders to be issued for this contract, or any option year so exercised is $200,000. The maximum dollar value of all task/delivery orders in a one year period shall not exceed $2 million. This solicitation is a competitive 8(a) Set-Aside.
