Description

(i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) Solicitation Number F64605-00-QP096. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3812 with a small business size standard of 750. The associated NAICS code is 334511. (v) This synopsis/solicitation contains two contract line item numbers (CLINs): CLIN 0001: Price will be submitted as follows: *CLIN 0001, Beacon Extractor and Recorder, (BEXR)-PC System (PCS) with Dolch Pac Computer, 1 each X $______(Unit Price) = $ _________ (Total Price). Please provide the manufacturer and part number you are quoting on. CLIN 0002: Price will be submitted as follows: *CLIN 0002: Beacon Extractor and Recorder (BEXR) Rugged Plastic Carrying Case with Wheels, Model Number TXC-3, 1 each X $_____(Unit Price) = $________ (Total Price). Please provide the manufacturer and part number you are quoting on. (vi) Delivery for both items will be made at the following location: PACAF/CSS, 25 E Street, Suite E-301, Hickam AFB, Hawaii, 96853-5415. Acceptance will be made by one point of contact from PACAF/CSS. FOB point is destination point. (vii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors _ Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition without addenda. (viii) A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued based upon the proposal determined to provide the best value based upon delivery and price. (ix) Offerors are required to complete a copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications _Commercial Items, excluding paragraph (b) of the provision (IAW DFARS 212.301(b)(2)), with offer. (x) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition without addenda. (xi) The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders _ Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Registration must be completed at the time of award. An award cannot be made to you unless you are registered in the Central Contractor Registration database.
