Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Logicon of Reston, VA. The Navy requires continued development, integration, maintenance, and support of software application code for the maritime implementation of the Defense Information Infrastructure (DII) Common Operating Environment (COE) and DII COE based systems, to include SPAWAR IT-21 Block 1 Upgrade and associated programs, as well as other related maritime systems. This contract outlines the work required to continue developing 4.X/5.X architecture based on the DII COE of UNIX and the Windows 2000 platforms, as well as sustaining the lifecycle support for already delivered DII COE based tactical and non-tactical solutions and derivative systems. This is a continuation of the current contract with Logicon-INRI, N00039-00-C-3124. It is SPAWAR's intention to award a one base year with two option years, cost-plus-fixed-fee level of effort contract, with an estimated contract value of $48,000,000. See Note 22.
