Description
This is a combined synopis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information inclosed in the notice. This announcement consitutes the only soliciation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to award a contract for Windows 2000 and Openview onsite training classes at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, 3rd Marine Air Wing, G-6 Division. 3rd Marine Air Wing will host sixteen classes with a minimum of eight students per class provided by 3rd Marine Air Wing. The Vouchers will be open-ended and will not be assigned to any particular individual. The vouchers will not expire until after October 31, 2004. If at anytime during the courses, it is deemed by competent authority (G-6 division representative) that the courses are not of the quality that is expected, G-6 may exercise the right to turn in the remaining vouchers for a full refund of all vouchers not used. Students will also receive an AUDIT option, which enables the student to retake a class at no charge at any time no matter what the reason. The AUDIT student must use the original manual they received the first time they attended the class. If a student takes a course and is moved out of his/her present billet requiring the course, then the replacement will be allowed to take the course, using the original books/materials at no cost. Also, 3rd Marine Air Wing is not limited to the classes that are provided to your company below. 3rd Marine Air Wing can change out Microsoft classes and substitute other Microsoft classes as they see appropriate. Also, all Windows 2000 classes will be held onsite, under the supervision of G-6, 3rd Marine Air Wing. Class Titles: Analyzing and Tuning Microsoft Windows 2000 and Back Office Server 4.5 Performance MS-1535 Designing a Windows 2000 Directory Services Infrastructure MS-1561, Designing a Windows 2000 Networking Services Infrastructure MS-1562, Designing a Secure Windows 2000 Network MS-2150, Implementing Windows 2000 Professional and Server MS-2152, Implementing and Administering Windows 2000 Directory Services MS-2154, Implementing a Windows 2000 Network Infrastructure MS-2153, Administering Microsoft Internet Information Server MS-2295; Openview IT Service Manager; Openview Asset Viewer; Openview Service Reporter; Openview Glance Plus; Openview Administration; Openview IT Operations; Openview Net Matrix; Openview Measure Ware Agent; Openview Smart Plugins; Openview Network Node Manager; Openview Omniback Plus; Openview Omnistorage; Openview Desktop Administrator; Openview Software Distributor; Delivery date should be 30 days ARO or sooner. Offerors shall include a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial items, with its offer. The following Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: Offerors shall include a completed copy of provisions 252.212-7000, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments program; 252.225-7012, Preference for Certain Domestic /commodities. Each offeror shall review the preceding clauses and provisions incorporated by reference, and return a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000 with its offer. Copies of provisions and clauses will be provided upon request. Offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, Data Universal Numbering System (duns), and Tax identification number.
