Description

This notice amends Submission No. 497383. The period for rehabilitation counselors (RC) to apply for the United States Labor Department/Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) Rehabilitation Counselor Certification Workshop, for RC who live in the States of New York and New Jersey and in Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands is extended to April 30, 2001.The dates for workshops, and the compensation rates for direct service have been changed also. Workshops for RC who live in the States of New York and New Jersey will be held during the week of June 11, 2001. Workshop dates for RC who live in Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands will be during the week of August 5, 2001. RC selected to provide direct services under these announcements, after attending required workshops, are compensated at the professional rate of $75 per hour and the non-professional rate of $37.50 per hour. The New York District Office has also established bonuses for meeting certain time and quality standards. The deadline for RC to submit application packages requires postmark date and/or receipt of complete application packages no later than April 30, 2001.
