Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is F11623-01-R-0004, and the solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-18. (iv) The associated standard industrial classification code is 4581 and the North American Industry Classification System code is 488119. (v) Scott AFB IL has a need for screening services of all personnel, baggage, and belongings to provide security for passenger terminal that meets the current federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Also required is facility observations and security check, and support during contingencies or miltitary exercise operations. (vi) Services are required for the period of one year after date of award of contract. (vii) The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) does not apply to this acquisition. (viii) Proposals are due to this office NLT 4:00 p.m. CST on 05 Apr 01. Proposals may be mailed to 375 CONS/LGCB, ATTN: Helen Billhartz, 201 E.
