Description

This is a SYNOPSIS ANNOUNCEMENT of INTENT TO AWARD a contract for commercial services. Contract shall be prepared in accordance with information in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis constitutes the only announcement. Award is to be a firm fixed-price, indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery contract for one base year and four option years. Award shall incorporate clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #97-23. This award is made on an unrestricted basis. This NAICS code for the award is 51111, Newspaper Publishers. The Alaska Army National Guard has a requirement for classified advertising to focus on recruiting efforts. The advertising must reach the citizens of Anchorage, AK on a daily basis. Advertising space shall be not less than 2000 inches annually. Estimated amount of total award to include base and option years is less than $200,000.00. Estimated amount of each individual order is less than $40,000.00. The following clauses from the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) apply: 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference; 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer Central Contractor Registration; and 52.247-34, FOB Destination. FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, shall be completed and submitted with the proposal. The government intends to award without discussion. Base year for contract shall be 1 April 2001 through 31 March 2002.
