- The Ranges and Training Land Program(RTLP) Symposium 2001 will be held at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, Hampton, VIrginia, hosted by the U.S. Army Training Support Center(ATSC). The Symposium will be held April 2, 2001 through April 5, 2001, with the opportunity for vendors to exhibit their technologies throughout the Symposium. Anticipated attendance is more than 200 hightly qualified GOvernment personnel from Installation and Major Command Live Fire Ranges worldwide. Many of the attendees are decision makers who come from organizations with considerable purchasing power. Some technologies and general areas of potential interest include: Targetry for individual and crew served weapons systems, after action review(AAR)systems, battle effects simulators(BES), pyrotechnics to support live training, instrumentation to support live training and live fire range operations, digital technology to support Force XXI live fire training, engagement simulators for individual and crew served weapons systems, explosive ordnance disposal, remediation of range ordnanace, bullet traps, baffles, indoor live fire range technology, indirect fire simulations, technologies to link live, virtual, and constructive training, and military operations in urban terrain(MOUT).
