- Description
- Contractor is to remove existing gymnasium sheet vinyl flooring system to the bottom of the depressed concrete slab. Remove area of concrete slab as required for installation of volleyball pole inserts. Dispose of all debris and clean depressed concrete slab area for new flooring and other work. Contractor will than seal all cracks and expansion joints in depressed slab to prevent moisture infiltration. Provide low profile sport floor system with 27/32" minimum second and better grade MFMA northern hard maple. Install and finished per manufacturer's requirements. Provide game lines for volleyball and basketball including 3 point line. Provide inserts for removable volleyball standards with flush caps. Provide manufacture approved metal transition strip to bridge between new wood floor and perimeter vinyl tile concrete floor. All request must be done in writing and mailed to the Potomac Job Corps Center, 1 DC Village Ln., SW, Washington DC 20032, Attn: Barry Worrell. Magnitude between $25,000 and $100,000.
