Description

Lakehurst Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst New Jersey has a requirement for Teardown and Estimate for Repair of 2 Boresight Alignment Sets for the M61A1 Cannon for the F-14 Aircraft. The resultant contract shall have an option to furnish all labor, equipment, material and service necessary to repair, calibrate, and restore to Ready For Issue (RFI) condition the Boresight Alignment Sets. The solicitation will be made available in Word 6.0 format on the internet at the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil. Select "Business". Then "Doing Business with us" and Open Solicitation." No solicitations will be mailed and no hard copies of solicitations will be made available. Responsible sources are advised to monitor the web site listed above for RFP release and RFP amendments, as necessary. The estimated release of the RFP is 06 April 2001. Phone, fax or e-mail requests for RFPs will not be accepted. The Government anticipates a firm fixed-price award as a result of this solicitation. This solicitation is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside.
