Description

This is a sole source, combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and the test program outlined in FAR 13.3, as well as supplemental information provided herein. This non-competitive action will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). The United States Patent and Trademark Office plans to issue this requirement as a firm fixed price purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures, which will be awarded to Microst Corporation, Premier Sales, 2118 Water Ridge Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28217. The agreement with Microsoft will provide for specialized technical assistance, hot line availability based on individual incident calls. This agreement will provide the USPTO with proactive, personalized support services which are aimed at providing rapid resolution to enterprise support issues. During the twelve (12) month period of performance with three (3) identical option periods of twelve (12) months each. The Basic Premier Support Service agreement (each twelve month period) shall include 100 individual incidents calls, Technical Account Management, a membership to Microsoft Developer Network; four secured access accounts and a site visit by the assigned Microsoft Technical Account Manager (TAM). This announcement constitutes the RFP and is the only solicitation that will be issued. A sole source proposal is being requested pursuant to this announcement and shall reference requisition number 192P0150262. This solicitation incorporates all of the applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-23, as if stated in full text, as well as the terms and conditions of FAR 52.212-1. A firm fixed priced commercial items purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures, will be issued. A proposal shall be delivered to the Patent and Trademark Office, Office of Procurement, 2011 Crystal Drive, CPK 1, Suite 810, Arlington, VA 22202, Attention: Ms. J.
