Description

The Defense Supply Service-Washington intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Motorola BCS, 101 Tournament Drive, Horsham, PA. 19101 to procure ACC-3000 HW hardware and software with Technical Support and MLJ350T Pentium III 833MHz. The Pentagon Cable Information Network and the Pentagon Classified Cable Information Network's headend consists of equipment manufactured by Jerrold Communication, a division of General Instrument now owned by Motorola. The ACC-3000 headend controller is used to manage the de-scrambler and must be compatible to communicate with the existing 2300 converter boxes in use.This equipment contains proprietary information. See Note 22. No solicitation will be issued. All responsible sources may identify their interest and submit a written capabilities statement.
