Description

The Defense Distribution Mapping Agency (DDMA), located in Building 66 at Richmond, VA has a requirement for the purchase of repair services to repair thirty-seven (37) rows of an existing rack system in order to render them structurally sound and operationally viable. The failing rack system is owned by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The existing system and components are manufactured by Teilhaber Manufacturing, Broomfield, CO. If other than Teilhaber components are proposed, contractor shall supply sufficient technical information to demonstrate that proposed components will integrate with existing Teilhaber components and will provide a fully functional system. NOTE: Structurally sound components of existing rack system shall be reused to the maximum extent possible. All other labor, equipment, material, and transportation necessary to design and install the rack system repairs shall be provided by the successful contractor. Estimated performance time from receipt of award through final acceptance of the system is approximately 365 days. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332999 and the size standard to meet the set-aside requirement is 500 employees. The Government's total requirement as stated above must be priced on a FOB Destination basis. A written solicitation will be issued and processed for award. Contract type will be firm fixed-price. A pre-bid conference/site visit will be scheduled to occur approximately midway through the 30 day solicitation period. All responsible small business concerns may request a copy of the solicitation.
