Description

Sole source acquisition to Ronkondoma Aerospace Technologies, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY. Contractor to revise course content and deliver two (2) courses 80 hours/each, of Navy short course Practical Stress Analysis. The structural analysis is aimed at an audience that will include NAVAIR and NAVDEP Engineers engaged in the design and analysis of aircraft repairs and modifications. The course shall provide uniform and practical detailed stress analysis procedures, for the design and evaluation of fleet service induced damage and the repair of that damage. Ronkondoma Aerospace Tech developed the course to be upgraded under a previous contract. Oral RFQ will be utilized via Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Anticipated award date is 10 April 2001.
