Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to SystemG Corporation for Programming and Technical Support for Hazardous Material Information System (HMIS)under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302. The contractor owns the proprietary toolkit used to generate the code that interfaces with the ROMWARE databases and displays HMIS data. SystemG provides specialized experience and body of knowledge acquired during the HMIS development process. Ongoing follow-on efforts require detailed knowledge and familiarity with the programs, data and processes. The anticipated award date is March 30, 2001. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
