Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, plant, and equipment to perform in strict accordance with the detailed requirements of the schedule and technical specifications, the following activities in the Robert S. Kerr powerhouse: a. Remove the existing excitation cubicles for units 1-4 including all cables and conduits not being reused. b. Modify the existing cable trays that enter the existing excitation cubicle to allow them to interface with the new excitation cubicles. c. Furnish and install a complete digital excitation system including all cables and conduits and testing. d. Modify wiring in the existing switchboards, switchgear and other cabinets necessary for the complete installation of the new excitation systems. Plans and specifications will be available on or about April 12, 2001, and will be provided on Compact Disk (CD-ROM). THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM.
