Description

Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies and materials, except for Government-furnished property, to repair approximately 3320 rods of existing fence. Reconstruct approximately 830 rods of 4-wire barbed and jack-leg-pole fence. To construct approximately 210 rods of new fence. Work is located in Lewis & Clark and Jefferson County, Montana. Contractor will furnish approximately 210 rods of 4-wire barbed fence, 14 wire gates, 80 set wood posts, 57 set brace rails, 1176 set steel posts, 3920 rods barbed wire fence, 100 rods of jack-leg-pole fence and 1510 rods of fence removal. The contractor will have 107 days to complete the work after Notice to Proceed is issued. Awards over $25,000 will require payment protection in the form of Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit or Payment Bond within 15 days after award is made. The solicitation is a Request for Quotations and will be awarded as a purchase order approximately May 18, 2001. The proposed award is 100% set aside for small business concerns. See number Note 1.
