Description

Reference CBD published 20 Mar 2001. Add the following additional information: "Under this existing effort, the contractor is to show what can be done today in miniature technologies using off the shelf hardware and some developed software such that sensors can be deployed on the battlefield and autonomously networked together to collect data and get the information back to the commander using Motes (nodes of the network) as the data collection devices and the plane as its deployment vehicle."
