Description

1680-01-146-8239, Overheat Fire Detector, manufactured to Whittaker Corp Cage 25693 P/N 3151-16-500/325-9. Approved sources: Meggitt Safety Systems Inc. and Northrop Grumman Corp. Other than full and open competition, intended sources: Meggitt Safety Systems and Northrop Grumman Corp. Flight Safety/ Critical Application Item. Any manufacturer other than Meggitt Safety Systems or Northrop Grumman must submit a complete source approval package for evaluation in order to be considered for award (see FAR 52.217-9002 and 52.217-9G04). DSCR does not currently have an approved technical data package available for this NSN. Please do not submit request to DSCR-VABA. This solicitation is for an indefinite quantity contract with a base year and four one year option periods. The estimated annual demand is 216 each for the base year and 96 each for the option years. FOB is Origin with inspection and acceptance at Origin IAW QAP 003. Requested delivery is 90 days ARO. Solicitation will not be placed on the Procurement Gateway.
