- Description
- The Government intends to acquire four (4) BIT Tester Sets for use with the AN/AVS-7. The BIT testers must simulate all the normal aircraft inputs to the Signal Data Converter in order to test the proper function of the system. This procurement will be conducted on a Sole Source basis with BAE Systems, who is the developer of the AN/AVS-7 system and is the only known possessor of the technical and interface data necessary to produce the test sets. The Government does not possess the data necessary to acquire thisitem from another source. See Note 22.
