Description

The following is an update to the previous synopsis announcement number 20119-00 of 11 December 2000. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has stopped the evaluation process on all proposals submitted in response to the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Navy Tactical Reconnaissance/Precision Targeting Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) released on 11 December 2000. The purpose of this update is to redefine the BAA's current existing technical requirements. NAVAIR has now posted a revised Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Navy Tactical Reconnaissance/Precision Targeting SAR on the NAVAIR Contracts Website. The posted documents can be accessed and downloaded by going to http://contracts.navair.navy.mil then clicking on Solicitations then on N00019-01-R-0029 SAR BAA. All proposals are due by 26 April 2001. All offerors may submit proposals in response to this revised BAA regardless of whether or not they submitted proposals in response to the 11 December 2000 BAA. Offerors who responded to the 11 December 2000 BAA may revise their initial Technical and Cost Proposals as a result of the BAA's redefined technical requirements. Any proposals that are submitted in response to this revised BAA from offerors who responded with proposals to the 11 December 2000 BAA, shall constitute new offers to the Government.
