Description

1. The purpose of this amendment is to allow collaborations between HBCUs and non-HBCU entities, including Federal Laboratories, while limiting funding for non-HBCU participation to 20% of the costs reimbursed under the resulting award. Amendment to BAA DAAD19-01-R-0004 Section IV. Conditions, A. Eligibility, paragraph three is ammended as follows: 2. Research collaborations between principal investigators in HBCUs and scientists at other institutions of higher education (non-HBCUs) or Federal Laboratories, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers, and academic institutions that are federal government organizations (e.g., Naval Postgraduate School) are encouraged. 3. To this end, proposals from HBCUs are welcome that include cooperation or collaboration with others in the academic or federal sectors, as described above, not to exceed 20% of the cost of all the costs reimbursed under the resulting award.
