Description

It is the Government's intent to acquire a sole source from Alabama A&M University, a follow-on contract to study and characterize infrared window materials for the Atmospheric Interceptor Technology (AIT) program. Period of performance is for six months from award of contract. Alabama A&M University is the one responsible source with a unique capability to provide the particular research services proposed. Award to other than current source would result in substantial duplication of cost and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. See Numbered Note(s) 5.
