THIS ACQUISITION IS A 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS, NAICS CODE 483111, SIZE 500. 18A. PAYMENT WILL BE MADE BY: COMMANDER MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND, N86, WASHINGTON NAVY YARD BLDG 157, WASHINGTON DC 20398 II. DRYVOY BOXES 1. VESSEL(S) REQUIRED: U.S. OR FOREIGN FLAG VESSEL OR TUG/BARGE (2,000 SHP). VESSEL MUST BE CAPABLE OF CARRYING THE CARGO DESCRIBED IN BOX 2 BELOW. VESSEL MUST BE CAPABLE OF BALLASTING/ DEBALLASTING. VESSEL MUST HAVE EQUIPMENT TO INCLUDE RAMPS OR OTHER EQUIPMENT TO FACILITATE RO/RO OPERATIONS FOR THE CARGO DESCRIBED BELOW IN BOX 2. CONTRACTOR MUST PROVIDE MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT TO LIFT AND STACK CONTAINERS. VESSEL MUST PROVIDE FENDERING TO AVOID DAMAGE TO PIER. VESSEL MUST FURNISH ALL LASHING GEAR. VESSEL MUST HAVE A MINIMUM SUSTAINED SPEED OF 6.5 KNOTS LADEN IN MODERATE WEATHER. "NOTE" -- PIER INFORMATION -- FROM THE END OF THE PIER (SEAWARD) TO 16 FEET TOWARDS THE SHORE, THE USABLE WIDTH THAT EXISTS IS 20 FEET. CONTINUING PAST THIS 16 FEET FROM THE END OF THE PIER SHOREWARD EXIST BOLLARDS, WHICH REDUCE USABLE PIER WIDTH TO 16 FEET 08 INCHES. DUE TO THE PIER ONLY BEING 20 FEET WIDE, IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO POSITION THE RO/RO RAMP FROM THE SIDE OF PIER, THUS IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO MED MOOR BARGE OFF END OF PIER (SEAWARD SIDE), WITH RECOMMENDATION TO POSITION ANCHOR OFF EACH END OF BARGE SEAWARD TO HOLD POSITION. A PORT SURVEY IS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR 2 SUPERCARGOES. 2.
