Description
The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) has a requirement for the renovation of the cafeteria in the David P. Rall Building at the NIEHS South Campus located in the Research Triangle Park, NC . This project shall include but is not limited to the following: 1) architectural, mechanical, electrical, and piping demolition of existing spaces; 2) installation of Government Furnished Equipment; 3) installation of new walls, ceilings, and other architectural finishes; and modification of existing HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, lighting, power and life safety systems. The anticipated time for completion of this project is six (60 months. The purpose of this synopsis is advertise this requirement on a full and open competitive basis to all eligible firms under Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) 23320 with a contingency for a possible HUB Zone set aside for firms that are located in HUB Zone areas that possess the necessary experience and qualifications. All HUB Zone candidates are invited to submit capability statements that substantiate their experience an qualifications in performing renovation of cafeteria and/or restaurant type projects within ten days from the date of the synopsis. Acknowledgment of receipt of responses will not be made nor will responded be notified of the evaluation of the information received. Should it be determined that two or more qualified HUB Zone candidates are available, the synopsis will be amended to reflect the change competitive status of the requirement from full and open competition to a competitive HUB Zone set aside. As it currently exists, this requirement is being advertised on a full and open competition basis to all eligible firms with the size status restriction of SIC Code NAICS 233320; $27.5 million for cafeteria renovation".
