Description

This solicitation notice is for information only. Do Not request solicitation documents until Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued. The Rep will have all necessary information. This solicitation is set aside for the Small Business Administration (SBA) Program under Section 8(a) restricted only to eligible 8(a) contractors located in the portfolio of the SBA/Santa Ana and Los Angeles Districts. The Officer in Charge requires all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, safety and management necessary to fulfill the requirement of task orders issued by the Contracting Officer for minor maintenance construction, repair and alteration work. Work to be accomplished by means of an Indefinite Quantity type contract. The contract term is for a period of one (1) year. The Government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract services for an additional two twelve month periods. The total contract shll not exceed 36 months. Plans and specification shall be available on or about April 12, 2001. The North American Industry Classification is 233320. The related Small Business Size Standard is $27.5 million. The proposed procurement listed herein was accepted by the Small Business Administration for competition in the 8(a) program on March 23, 2001. It is being offered for competition only to eligible 8(a) concerns. Eligible 8(a) firms are encouraged to participate. The resulting contract will be performed under a Indefinite Quantity Type Contract. The basis of award for this project shall be the conforming, responsive, responsible proposer offering the lowest total price on Contract Line Items 0001 through 0009. However, the initial award will only include Contract Line Items 0001, 0002 and 0003 for the base period.
