Description

Reference CBD published 20 March 2001 and amended 30 March 2001. Add the following information: The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome, NY 13441 intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with MLB Company 137 Lindy Lane, Palo Alto, CA 94306. A Miniature Robotic Aircraft. The reason for the sole source is compatibility. A prototype plane already exists and is being used to deploy sensor networking nodes called "Motes", which consist of COTS hardware and software currently under development, into battlefield where the Motes will self configure networking communications and collect data to send back to the plane where it delivers the sensed information (in flight).
