Description

The VA Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia, intends to negotiate a sole source consignment agreement contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, with Sulzer Carbomedics, Inc., for heart valves, mitral and aortic in a variety of sizes. The period of the agreement will be May 1, 2001 through April 30, 2002. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received not later than 4:30PM, April 20, 2001.
