- Description
- A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued for Lens, Goggles, Nuclear with a quantity of 700 EA. NSN: 8475-00-133-3740 shall be in accordance with CLASS 3 0f MIL-PRF-38169A, Dated 10 June 1998, and shall be of a configuration completely suitable for service use in the goggle frame described in MIL-G-635C, AMD 2, Not 3, Dated 14 March 2000. One (1) delivery is required beginning 180 days after date of award. The destinations for the subject item are Defense Depot Tracy, CA and Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA. First article testing is required. All materials are to be contractor furnished. See numbered notes 9, 13 and 26. This RFQ will be issued on an Unrestricted basis to approved sources. The successful offeror for this buy requires Engineering Source Approval. If you wish to become an approved source, please contact Kathleen Gullifer, DSCP, at 215-737-2496. RFQ date closing is estimated to be May 1, 2001 is estimated. Copies of the RFQ will be made available on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home or http://12.3.216.20/home at time of solicitation issuance on or about April 1, 2001. From the Gateway homepage, select "search RFP's" from the right hand sidebar. then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFP's are in protable document format (PDF). In addition, to receive E-MAIL NOTIFICATION OF SOLICITATIONS you must register with the USER PROFILE feature of the Gateway.
