Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is set aside for small business; all responsible sources may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number M6786501T0028 applies and is issued as a Request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-18. The North American Industry Classification System code is 337215 and the business size is 500 MILLION. The agency need is for:1)75 EA. DOUBLE TIER, HEAVY-DUTY 14-gage steel diamond mesh construction LOCKERS, SIZE: 18"W x 24"D x 72"H, WITHOUT LEGS, COLOR: GRAY, ONE SECTION, ONE FRAME. 2)59 EA. DOUBLE TIRE, HEAVY-DUTY 14-gage steel diamond mesh construction LOCKERS, SIZE: 12"W x 18"D x 72"H, WITHOUT LEGS, COLOR GRAY. 3)INSTALLATION: LOCKERS WILL BE INSTALLED IN BUILDING 9500/ HANGER 3 AT MCAS MIRAMAR, SAN DIEGO: Installation to include setting up lockers, anchoring lockers, and disposing of all excess material. The delivery of materials must be FOB Destination. Offeror shall include a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-commercial items, with its offers. The following clauses are applicable to this acquisition, 52.212-4, contract terms and conditions-commercial items,52.212-5, contract terms and conditions required to implement statutes or Executive Orders-commercial items, applies to this acquisition. The following additional FAR clauses cited are applicable to this acquisition and are cited by reference;52.203-6, Restrictions Subcontractor Sales to the Government,with Alternate I;52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting; 52.222-21 Prohibition of segregated facilities. 52.222-26,Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration. The following Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) Clause and Provisions apply to this acquisition: Offerors shall include a completed copy of provision 252.212-7000, offerors representations and certifications-commercial Items, 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments program; Each offeror shall review the preceding clauses and provisions incorporated by reference, and return a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000 along with its offer. Copies of its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE)CODE,DATA UNIVERSAL NUMBERING SYSTEM, (DUNS) and Tax Identification Number. A Site visit is scheduled for April 11, 2001 @ 2:00 P.M. Pacific standard time. Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where service is to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable.
