Description

Procurement of a production M26A2 extended range MLRS rocket pod technical data package with revisioning services, for a base year requirement with two (2) option year periods. A firm-fixed-price (FFP) purchase order is anticipated for award. The North Atlantic Industry Classification System Code is 541330. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on a sole source basis, to Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Dallas, since they are the designer and developer of the multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Dallas is the only entity that possesses the required level of knowledge and experience necessary to fulfill the required tasking. The anticipated purchase order award date is scheduled NLT 30 April 2001.
