Description

The US Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source purchase order for the teardown, parts functionality verification, software upgrade installation and acceptance of ALQ-136(V)2 pulse jammers. Parts delivery will be to Ft. Campbell, KY in addition to bonded storeroom at the contractor's facility. The Government does not possess the expertise or documentation to perform the above cited tasks. No further competition is anticipated; however, should a firm feel they can perform the teardown, upgrade and acceptance of these jammers, they are requested to identify themselves to the contracting office no later than 6 April 2001. Per FAR 6.302(a)(1), the intended source is ITT Avionics, Clifton, NJ. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. See Note 22.
