- 17. Description (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Request For Quotation, #F32604-01-T0118. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. (iv) Notice: This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification is 333999_ Lite Cart Corporation Model 533001 High Line Docks or Equal. The size standard is 500. (v) Items to be Procured: Require two (2) Lite Cart Corporation Model 533001 High Line Docks or Equal conforming to the following specifications: 48ft in total length, Maximum load capacity is 60,000(lbs.) or 1,875(lbs.) per linear foot. Handling capabilities must meet the following requirements: Pallets: up to six 463L pallets and loads up to 10,000(lbs.) on each, Platforms: type V platform loaded to 1,875(lbs.) per linear foot and 60,000(lbs.) max load, Containers: Various containers and flat bottom cargo containers up to 108 inches wide and 40ft long, ISO containers and containerized cargo. Assembly and Disassembly: Must be built on piece part concept, must have 6ft sections that may be added or removed to meet various requirements, all pieces that are the same must be interchangeable, must have storage bin with hardware and assembly tools, must provide for partial disassembly within 2 hours and fit on three 463L pallets and reassembled within three hours. Construction: Must be constructed of structural steel and hot dipped galvanized for low maintenance and long life in adverse conditions, must also have adjustable foot pads for leveling convenience, must have retractable stops at each end to prevent loads from falling off assembly, must have heavy duty (2000 lbs. capacity) rollers located at the end of each conveyor section, must have 4 conveyor lanes spaced to evenly distribute the load on 463L pallets and be compatible with the roller pads of type V platforms, 3 lanes of 19 inch inside walkways need to extend the length of the dock, must have fold down outside walkways with individual hand rails on both sides of dock. Place of delivery shall be 5 SUPS/LGSC Building 527, Minot AFB, ND 58705; FOB Destination. (viii) Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors_Commercial Items (OCT 2000) is hereby incorporated by reference with no addenda to the provision. (ix) Evaluation will be based on price and price related factors. (x) Include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications_Commercial Items (FEB 2001), with quote. (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions_Commercial Items (May 1999), applies to this acquisition with no addenda to this clause.
