Description

The Defense Distribution Center located in New Cumberland PA has a requirement for the purchase of Chemical Warfare Detection Device. The device must be hand held, portable, and capable of detecting nerve agents, blister agents, pepper spray and mace. It must differentiates between the agents and provide an indication to the user of the type of agent and its strength. Environmental Technologies Group ADP200 P/N 2428800-20 (4 each with training CD) or equivalent. If other than Environmental Technologies part number is offered, contract must supply sufficient technical information to demonstrate proposed portable detector provides the same detection and monitoring capabilities. The delivery location is the Defense Distribution Center San Joaquin located French Camp, CA 95231. This is a combined synopsis for a commercial items prepared in accordance with at the format at FAR subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only formal Request for Quote. There will not be a written solicitation or RFQ issued. All responsible business concerns may submit a quote for the above requirement not later than COB 16 April 2001. Price quotations should be e-mailed to raker@ddc.dla.mil. Reference the following number on all price quotes SB3100-1064-3061. Include complete company name, address, point of contact, phone number, cage code, DUNS number, and tax ID NUMBER. Contractor must be capable of accepting electronic fund payment for this procurement billable against a Government issued purchase order. ALL SOURCES MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION DATABASE. This notice incorporates FAR and DFARS Subpart 12 clauses and provision in effect through 97-20.
