Description

Numbered Note 22 applies to this notice. This proposed solicitation is for the acquisition of 906 Tactical Internet Radios, ancillary equipment, maintenance, training, and technical and field engineering support to enable communications among Army Tactial Operations Centers (TOC-to-TOC). These radios must be form-fit-function identical to those procured under OTA DAAB15-00-9-0008, with British Aerospace Engineering (BAE), which was awarded in support of the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Joint Program Office (JPO). On-the-move, wideband networked TOC-to-TOC radios that are capable of simultaneously performing data transport and collaborative planning are required. A Firm Fixed Price contract with a CPFF line item is anticipated for this action. A sole source award to BAE is anticipated, however proposals received as a result of this presolicitation notice will be considered.
