Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, Al intends to award a sole source contract to Dewey Publications, PO Box 663, Arlington, Virginia for the following publications. Guide to MSP Law & Practice, 18th edition 1979-2001 (Broida), Qty- 114; Guide to FLRA Law & Practice, 14th edition 1979-2001 (Broida), Qty-81; Guide to Federal Sector EEO Law, 14th edition 1979-2001 (Hadley) Qty-112. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-23. This requirement is unrestricted. FOB is various locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS. Complete addresses will be furnished with purchase order. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions are applicable to the acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items is applicable to this requirement and offerors shall include a completed copy of the Representations and Certifications with their bid. The following FAR Clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items , with the following clauses being applicable to the solicitation: 52.222-3, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.232-33, 52.233-3, 52.252-2, 52.252-6, 252.204-7003, 252.204-7004, and 252.212-7001(DEV). Numbered Note 22 applies to this solicitation. Quotes shall be received by 12:00pm(central time) on 16 April 01 to the following location: 42nd Contracting Squadron, ATTN: Mike Carnley, 50 Lemay Plaza South, Bldg 804, Maxwell AFB, Al 36112-6334.
