Description

The Monongahela National Forest anticipates contracting for the inventory of bats through the use of bat mist netting surveys to be completed in firve project areas of the Monongahela National Forest, Grant, Greenbrier, Pendleton, Pocahontas, and Randolph Counties, West Virginia. In addition radio transmitters and subsequent location identification will be placed on up to three (3) bats captured. The project work will take place between May 15 and September 30, 2001, with all field work being completed by August 15, 2001. Award for this project will be made on the basis of the best value to the government taking into consideration price, scheduled manpower, and past performance. All responsible offerors may receive an Invitation for Bid by submitting a written request to the above address or by sending a FAX or e-mail referencing the solicitatiion number.
