Radtke, Contracting Officer, 202-767-8095, lynne.radtke@bolling.af.mil DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial install and maintenance of a badge access security system, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for proposal (RFP). The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure solicitation number F2116110610100 as sole source, Firm Fixed price contract. The award date is expected to be not later than 17 April 01. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effet through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-23. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 561621, and the size standard is $9,000,000.00. The system is to be installed no later than 31 May 01. The contract is to be awarded to Allied Security System, a woman-owned small business located in Spokane, WA. The contractor must provide and install a building security system 100% identical to the badge access security system installed at Fairchild AFB, WA. The system is to be installed for HQ JPRA in Ft. Belvoir, VA. The contractor shall include all costs for installation and maintenance in their proposal, as well as warranty information. The contractor must provide a Statement of Work (SOW) in their proposal which details they will perform the requirement in accordance with the objectives provided in the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO). The contractor shall also submit past performance information with their proposal. Additionally, the offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (ALT I) (FEB 2001), and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (NOV 1995), with its offer. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award. Contractors may register in the CCR by visiting the CCR website at www.ccr2000.com . Solicitation closing date is 16 April 2001. All proposals must be received by 10:00am EST.
