Description

The contractor shall provide explosives detection canine teams to support USMS agency requirements in the New York metropolitan area. Locations will be specified on the delivery/task order. Each explosives detection canine team will consist of a certified handler and a certified canine that are sufficiently trained and experienced to conduct explosives detection sweeps in both urban and rural settings. Typically the explosives detection canine team will be deployed to sweep interior and exterior areas of office buildings, private residences, or vehicles (cars, trucks, planes, boats, trains, delivery vehicles etc.). This combined synosis/solicitation will be available on or after April 2, 2001 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The EPS site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the EPS site.
