Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials supervision and equipment required to maintain swimming pools at the Naval Air Station, JRB, Willow Grove, PA. The North American Industry Classification Code for this procurement is 561990. The size standard is $5.0 million. The resultant contract will be a combination firm fixed price/indefinite quantity contract. The procurement will be obtained utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This solicitation will be issued as unrestricted -- open to large and small business concerns. The initial pool openings shall be completed no later than 23 May 2001. There is also weekly service involved as the pool is open year round. The period of performance shall be from 1 May 01 through 30 Apr 02. The solicitation will not be available in a paper hard copy or CD Rom. The solicitation will only be available from the internet. The address for downloading this solicitation from the internet is http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Registration and downloading from the internet is free of charge. All prospective offerors are required to register on the ESOL website for this procurement when specifications become available. An official plan holders list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. If you fail to register, the Government cannot be responsible for your being not notified of any amendments to the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on/about 10 April 2001. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the internet. Therefore, it is the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. In addition, all contractors are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in the CCR makes an offer ineligible for award of DOD contracts.
